Little Village Workshops
Screen-Free, Hands-On Experiences for Children and Families
Families do not need to enroll in the full summer program to join a workshop.

- Limited Enrollment:
Children’s Workshops: Maximum 8 children. Parent & Child Workshops: Maximum 8 parent-child pairs - All materials are included unless otherwise noted. Culinary workshops include the food prepared during the experience.

Workshop Scheduling
Because this is an intentionally small inaugural pilot, the exact workshop lineup will be shaped by the families who register.
Workshops will be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays
Each Wednesday will feature one children’s or family workshop
Workshop Scheduling Overview
Workshops will be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays. Each Wednesday will feature one children’s or family workshop.
Every Friday will include:
- The Little Makers Market
- A Community Celebration
- One featured children’s or family workshop
The Little Makers Market will always remain part of Friday’s program, regardless of which additional workshop is selected.
During registration, families will be asked to indicate all workshops they are interested in attending
Workshop dates and times will be finalized after initial registration, based on:
- Participant interest
- Age group
- Instructor availability
- Minimum enrollment
- The best fit for participating families
Once a workshop reaches its minimum enrollment to run, registered and interested families will receive the confirmed date and time by email.
Submitting workshop interest does not guarantee that every listed workshop will run. Families will have an opportunity to confirm attendance once the final workshop calendar is announced.
Wednesday Workshops & Village Fridays
Wednesday Workshops
Wednesdays offer a midweek opportunity for enrolled children and outside families to participate in one featured Little Village workshop.
The selected workshop may focus on movement, wellness, fashion, art, cooking, gardening, sustainability, or another practical skill shared by one of our Village educators.
Village Fridays
Every Friday is a celebration of creation and community.
Children finish projects, reflect on their week, help harvest and prepare food, and get ready to share what they have learned and created.
The Little Makers Market
Every Friday includes the Little Makers Market. Children may display, demonstrate, share, sell, or donate:
• Botanical artwork
• Nature journals
• Handmade crafts
• Garden harvests
• Sewn creations
• Healthy baked goods
• Fashion designs
• Creative projects
• Other ideas developed during the week
The market introduces entrepreneurship as a form of creativity, service, value creation, and contribution—not simply profit.
It gives children an opportunity to practice communication, responsibility, confidence, decision-making, generosity, and pride in completing something from beginning to end.
Featured Friday Workshop
In addition to the market and community celebration, every Friday will feature one children’s or parent-and-child workshop chosen according to registration interest and instructor availability.
Weekly Highlight
Check our registration form to vote for your preferred workshop type. The final selection will be announced via email and posted at the Little Makers Market entrance cada week.
