Yes!Utopiat Family Village is launching as an inaugural pilot program. This first season is intentionally small so we can build a strong foundation, learn from participating families, and thoughtfully refine the experience before expanding. Our vision is much bigger than a single summer.Based on the lessons, feedback, and community we cultivate during this pilot, we plan to grow Utopiat Family Village into a fully licensed seasonal camp and eventually a year-round educational community.Families joining us this summer won't simply be attending a program—they'll become Founding Families helping shape the future of Utopiat Family Village from the very beginning.
Yes—for the children.Children do not use phones, tablets, computers, televisions, or video games during Utopiat Family Village programming.Instead, they'll spend their days gardening, cooking, creating, building, reading, moving, exploring nature, and connecting with one another.Occasionally, an instructor may use a mobile device as an educational tool—for example, to identify a plant, bird, insect, mushroom, or other element of nature using a field guide or identification app.Children observe the process, but they do not use the devices themselves. Our goal isn't to eliminate technology. Our goal is to teach children that technology is a tool—not the place where childhood happens.
Each day follows an intentional rhythm that includes:• Yoga & Mindful Movement• Breathwork & Nervous System Regulation• Human Body Lab• Gardening• Garden-to-Table Cooking• Reading & Storytelling• Creative Studio• Practical Life Skills• Free Imaginative Play• Entrepreneurship & Little Makers MarketNo two days are exactly alike, but every day is intentionally designed around the same philosophy.
Yes.We prepare our meals using 100% organic ingredients with an emphasis on seasonal, nutrient-dense foods. Many of our vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, and fruits come directly from our own gardens. When we can't grow them ourselves, we source from local organic farms and farmers' markets whenever possible. Our dairy products, eggs, and meats are carefully sourced from local farms we know and trust, emphasizing pasture-raised and grass-fed animals raised without routine antibiotics or added hormones. We happily accommodate many common dietary needs—including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and food allergies—within reason. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions during registration.
No.Utopiat Family Village is the first seed of a much larger vision. Our hope is to grow into a year-round community offering educational experiences, seasonal camps, family workshops, practical life skills, wellness, creativity, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for families to reconnect with one another and the natural world.
